Diaphragm, element, thermostat, anode and leak faults in gas water heaters and electric tank heaters.
Diagnosis and repair from 850 TRY
Hot water is indispensable in daily life; when a water heater or tank heater fails, a fix is urgent. Diaphragms and ignition in gas water heaters, and elements and thermostats in tank heaters are the most commonly replaced parts.
Gas water heaters
- Flame will not light or goes out: Diaphragm, ignition module, battery or flue draught.
- Water does not heat or is too hot: Gas adjustment valve, sensor.
- Smell of gas: Stop using it immediately; a leak test is done and gaskets replaced.
Electric tank heaters
- Not heating: Element or thermostat. Element replacement is 850-1,400 TRY.
- Leaking: Tank corrosion; a new unit is usually needed.
- Water too hot: Thermostat or safety valve fault.
- Anode check: The magnesium anode protects the tank from corrosion; replacement every two years is advised.
The scale problem
Because of water hardness in Bursa, scale on elements and pipes is frequent. Annual cleaning improves both heating speed and electricity or gas consumption.
Safety
Flue connection, ventilation and gas hose suitability are checked during service. For old-type water heaters, using a carbon monoxide detector is advised.
Scope of service

- Anode check and replacement
- Flue and gas safety check
