Heating element, thermostat, ignition and fan faults in built-in ovens, hobs and hoods; gas leak testing.
Diagnosis and repair from 900 TRY
The built-in set is the group of appliances used most intensively in the kitchen and also carries a safety risk. Repairing these gas and electricity appliances requires a qualified technician and safe measurement; faulty interference can cause fire or a gas leak.
Oven faults
- Not heating: Lower/upper element, temperature sensor or thermostat.
- Uneven heat: Fan motor or temperature probe.
- Display failure, clock stopped: The electronic programmer board.
- Broken door glass: Double/triple glass replacement.
Hob faults
- Not igniting: Spark plug, single electrode or spark module; blocked injector.
- Gas safety shuts off: Thermocouple fault.
- Induction/glass hob: Power board, coil or sensor faults.
Cooker hood
Fan motor, capacitor and filter problems are the most common hood faults. The grease filter should be washed monthly in the dishwasher or hot soapy water and the carbon filter replaced every six months.
Safety
After every gas appliance repair a leak test is done and the result entered on the service form. In conversions (natural gas/LPG) the correct injector and pressure setting are made.
Scope of service
